Hey ppl... I did not get accepted for the scholarship. I won't be able to further my studies anymore.

I am feeling somehow okay but at the same time depressed. But, i still have to face the fact that I am not accepted. At some point I am happy that I am not accepted because I won't be separated from my friends and family and I am able to release the huge burden my mom has been carrying on since my father have passed away. At least with working now, she can feel more relax that she do not have to pay for my educational fees, my living expenses and of course for my collection of comic books.. XD

Guess what?!! I am starting my new job tomorrow!!! I am thrilled that I can finally leave the house. Not working is fun just for the first few days but 15 days not doing anything besides going youtube, facebook, fanfiction and hotmail is very depressing. Believe me!! Wish me good luck tomorrow!!! :D

First hand, I would like to clear up some misunderstanding.
As some of you may have read my previous post, I have written that the scholarship results will be out by last week. Well, the results got delayed as they (the person in charge of the scholarship) have difficulty in choosing the participants since there are a lot of qualified participants this year. So, the results will be out by this week. Hopefully, I could get in. I would inform all of you as soon as I have seen the results. :D

Back to topic, today my family went out for lunch.
We ate at Pizzeria Bella Italia at SS2.

Last Day/Birthday

Yippie!!! Yesterday was my last day of work. I felt so ecstatic yet very sentimental. Even though I have not worked here for a long period but I am sure going to missed going to work, waking up early, and chat with my colleagues. On the other hand, I am so happy that I get to wake up late, play computer and hang out with me friends. Well that is until I find out about the results.

When it’s the last day of your work, you CELEBRATE!!! Coincidentally it is Sharon’s birthday too, so we decided to celebrate it together with our gang… Hehe!! I met up with Sharon and Tzi Ying at Sharon’s place, since my car is there, after work and we heads off to Sunway Pyramid. We met up with Shi Ching there. And as usual Warner came late, but this time with a good excuse.. LOL!!

It took us centuries to figure out the place we want to have our dinner at. First, Sharon wanted TGIF but is fully booked, then Tony Roma’s and it is also fully booked. Our last resort is to eat at Gasoline. I never been there before and I am scared when I heard about the rumours. But we still ended up there. LOL!! The food was okay if the they gave more fries and more soup for their combo’s. We chat a LOT and being the CNN, I told them about the recent news I read online during my office hours.

I told them that I wanted to be a good girl today and go home at 10pm but my plan failed. I reached home at 12.15am instead. My friends and I did a little detour.

Since Sharon works at Brussel’s Beer Café, we decided to drop by knowing that she can get 15% discount. I was so blur when the waiter handed us the menus. I do not understand what the drinks were except knowing that most of them contains alcohol.

p/s: Cousins, I am sorry that I broke my promise of going out with you guys but this is not counted since it is just a place to drink beer. :P

Shredding Queen

Life in the office is ever so boring. Well, that’s life. For this past week, I have been doing nothing but shredding papers. Yep, you hear me SHREDDING PAPERS. I have to shred at least 4 boxes full of papers!! It is not as easy as you think. Since the paper shredder is so small, it gets full easily and on top of that I have to take the shredded papers out and put it in the garbage bag. I don’t mind doing it as long as I have something to do but I just could not tolerate the freezing air conditioner, the room space and the awful smell.

Believe me, I thought I was in a freezer when I was in that room. It was so cold. Imagine yourself wearing long sleeve formal wear to work and wear a jacket on top of it and another jacket . That shows how cold it is. I thought that with the increase amount of bags fill with the shredded papers would make the room warmer but I felt colder by the second.

The worst is that they even put the garbage from morning to afternoon in that room. Imagine all sorts of leftover foods from curry, rice, mee, fruits , breads and others in that room. It was so hard to even breathe. The smell was awful.

It was very boring too. No one is in that room besides me. And you know that I need to talk, if I don’t talk means something is wrong with me. Well, at least I have my new baby, mp3, to accompany me. I was listening to Korean and some Mandarin songs while shredding.

Due to the lack of garbage bags, I have to continue shredding on Monday when more garbage bags arrive. I have to shred another 2 more boxes of papers. I shall be call the ‘Shredding Queen’. I bet no one has ever shred that much paper as I have. Haha!!

But in that lonely and cold room, I kept thinking about Jaebum. How I wish that he will go back to Korea and return back to 2PM. Remembering his jokes on variety shows, his laughter and his playful actions. It was just last week I was having fun watching him on ‘Wild Bunny’. At least he is safe back home where no anti's can hurt him. I thought that if I go to Korea, I would be able to meet him. :(

The 8^th of September, was the day that I could never expect something like this will happen. I cried when I found out that Jaebum, from 2PM, decided to leave the group and fly back to his hometown, Seattle. It was really sad seeing him leaving his group members, his career and his fans. It was just a mistake he has done four years ago, and now the antis have chased him away. I really hope that he will come back soon. I going to miss him so much. I just can’t imagine myself listening to 2PM songs without him singing and watch the variety shows he acted in. It was really a sad day for all the Hottest out there, as their favourite Leadja won’t be there anymore. I miss him so much. I am going to cry again seeing him leaving the Korea airport and arriving in the Seattle airport. :'(

It's the time of the month! My scholarship results will be out this month. I feel so scared and nervous but at the same time I feel so happy knowing that I might have a chance to further my studies. Well, just wish me luck.

Since the results are coming out, I have decided to quit my temporary job. My last day will be on the 15th. I decided to quit a week earlier because I want to have a break before the results are out. If I got accepted, I would have to start planning on what to bring since I will have less than a month in Malaysia, don't miss me, but if I did not get it then I would start hunting for a job. Well it's all up to my fate.

Well, will update here as soon as I know the results, maybe a few hours delay. Cheers!!

I have gotten a new baby, not baby baby but a baby!! LOL!!
I participated in a lucky draw event that was held by Philips for their people...
Since I am working there temporarily, I get to participate..
And to my surprise I won a mp3!!! OMG!!
I was very shocked!! it was 2nd prize...
I have never won anything without sms-ing, email-ing and sending letter...

Dinner at Picadilly

Last Sunday, my family and I (excluding my brother in law) went out for dinner. Well is the time of the month where I am suppose to ‘belanja’ them when I received my salary. It was suppose to be like two weeks ago but due to some communications problem with the agency, I received my salary late. Believe me, I was really angry but being the kind hearted me I just kept quiet.

Well, let’s return back to topic!! This post is not about my salary, well partly, but it is more about the dinner I am paying for. I took my family to this place, ‘Picadilly’ where the restaurant is located below the condominium ‘Millennium Square’. A friend of mine intro these place when we are doing a farewell dinner for another acquaintance of mine.

This place is quite good and is quite big. There are like two sections, one of the sections is where you can watch sports channel, mainly football, while enjoying your meal while the other section is much quieter mostly for a group of friends to sit down and chit chat.

As I have mentioned, I came here once before and I think this place I kind of good. There are so many types of foods here from Japanese to Western to Chinese to Malay and to Indian. So many foods too choose from and believe me you do not know where to start.

So let’s get on with the foods…. :d

~The drinks~

Apple Green Abbey

It is very nice. A little bit of sweetness and sourness. It became Nadia’s favourite drink :D

Chocolate Milkshake

Is okay. Not that thick.

Is very sour but very digestive.

Is very nice and the garlic bread is also good.

Is nice but there are not meat in the middle. It is all stick on the skin, so if you peel the skin astala vista meat!!

Is not bad. The quantity is quite good compared to other restaurant.( Sorry I forgotten to take pic)

Is quite good but it’s a bit salty.

Chicken Briyani (Masala Sauce)

Is okay but the sauce is also a bit salty.

Grilled Chicken Breast (Black pepper Sauce)

Is very good for a chicken breast lover like me and my siblings, but the portion is a bit too small…
The last time I came, they gave to chicken breast instead of one…

3 side orders + 3 drinks + 3 main meals brings up a total of RM 59.95.
The price is consider okay for four people (Nadia is counted since she eats quite a lot). The average is around RM 15 per person. Is nearly the same eating at other places, or maybe even cheaper.

Well, we had a blast eating trying each other’s food and trying to persuade Nadia from drinking our drinks!! Hehe!!! :D

Shocked!!

I just have the biggest shocked of my life. I was browsing through the website regarding the scholarship details that I have applied for. I know I am being impatient… HAHA!! Then, something caught my eye. It was the scholarship results from the previous year. No, I did not see my friend’s name in there, is the date of the results that was published that shocked me. It was on the 22^nd September, and all these while I thought the results will be out during the end of August or beginning of September. Another sad thing was that the deadline for the last year scholarship was 15^th July. This year the scholarship’s deadline is on the 31^st July meaning I have to wait for two months for the results to be out. Hmmmm…. What should I do now? My well planned plan is now not that well planned anymore.

Oh well, instead of working in the company until this month might as well work until September. Can gain more money and my resume will look better. Since I have so much time during the weekends, I might as well get a part time job. This way I do not have to ask my mom for money when I am going further my studies in Korea. Even if I did not get accepted, I have nothing to lose I will just have more money to spend here…wakakakaka!!!! I rather plan ahead of time than regretting. I have already checked if I want to buy a computer when I am in Korea it will costs around RM4k. yep… once I am able to posses the Korean language… part time job here I come!!!! Since the plugs in Korea are so much different from Malaysia and their call centers are different, I need to get a new phone and a new sim card(bye bye my sweet number). But the phones are quite cheap considering that my phone nearly cost the same price here. I need to get a part time job soon. Anyone can recommend me any part-time job?

I am so happy. Today is the first day of my Korean lessons. Thanks to the Korea Trade Center for organizing free Korean classes to all Korean lovers, especially me. The lesson was pretty awesome but it was quite hard to catch up since I am starting in level 4. Don’t think I am snobbish, I have to take this class because this is the only class that is available during the night. The rest is in the afternoon. Well, I know I am able to overcome this situation. To me I think that if I like a certain culture, language will not be a problem. Even if I have problem, I can always ask question. :D At least when I go to Korea, I am able to communicate a little with the citizens there.

I always wonder why people judge others by how they look. Just because other people are not born that pretty or not physically attractive does not mean that they are bad and vicious people. In fact is the other way around. I've been giving it a thought why do people think that it is wrong for someone who is not that attractive end up with a pretty girl or handsome. Why do people have to criticize that person just for falling in love? Oh come on, don’t be jealous and ruin other people’s happiness. I never get it why people are so close minded.

Even the outside world is like that. They judge people by their appearance. Just because he or she is not pretty or handsome does not mean she can’t do her work. Oh yeah, I forgot the company chooses them because they think that they can attract more male and female clients. HELLO?!! So what if, they can attract more clients but are they able to do their job right. You know just because of people like these, people who are capable in doing the jobs right is having a hard time looking for a job. They are always rejected because of their appearance and how they look. You should be ashamed of yourself for discriminating other people.

I have experience something like this once. I went for an interview with a friend of mine. We went to interview for air stewardess for a certain airline. I know me interviewing for air stewardess. Well the advertisement I read did not mention anything about weight, so why can’t I apply. As expected, I failed. But wait this is not the best part. As I was entering the hall, the other participants were looking at me weirdly is like they are giving me this look saying that why is she here. Maybe I am paranoid but I don’t think so. Well, it was my turn to measure my weight and height. The first woman look at my weight and tells the second woman (since she is writing it down), the second woman practically giggle when she heard my weight. I am not being paranoid. It doesn’t make sense for her to giggle after she has heard my weight. That’s not all. After the so called first stage, I have to proceed to second stage where I have to do a catwalk and pose. My friend says that I should be happy that I passed the first stage, but think about it if they kick me out in the first stage because of my weight its already discrimination. By the way after I did my catwalk and pose, I stood in front of the panels. They passed to me a piece of paper and asked me to read the passage. So I read, and then they ask me smile with my teeth. Oh, this is more hurtful. She saw the hole in my teeth and she say oh… in a disgust tone. She did not let me explain about my teeth and my future plan for my teeth. So I just gave up. Maybe they are using this way to reject me. Well that’s the whole story. I did not feel sad after being rejected. I feel happier and relax knowing that if I passed I have to face all those discriminative people.

Back to my perspective, why most Malaysians are so close minded. Who cares about what other people say. To me, is not wrong being not pretty because to me a person with a good heart is the prettiest. The guy or girl you have a crush on rejected you just because of your appearance then to tell you the truth I don’t think they deserve you. You can get a guy or a girl who loves you and treats you better. Don’t let them get to you. A true lover or a true friend will like you for who you are not what they want you to become.

I started working as an admin assistant last Thursday. It was not really a job that I would really like but I am blessed to be able to get a temporary job. I am going to work while waiting for my scholarship results. I know that the percentage of me getting accepted for this scholarship is really low, around 2 %, but who knows, maybe I will get accepted. Plus, I just have to wait until end August or beginning of September. This scholarship is my only hope to further my studies. If I did not get accepted, welcome working world. Is not that I do not like working, but I really want to study broadcasting now. I am just scared that when I earn enough to further studies, my interest in studying disappears.

Those of you who are going to further your studies, you should feel fortunate. Being able to further your studies is a great opportunity. Not everyone can have it. But at the same time, I pity some of you. You are able to further your studies but you are force to take a course that you do not like just for the sake of inheriting your family business. Eventually, everything would turn out well. I am not saying that I do not feel fortunate, but the other way around. I consider myself fortunate to be able to study diploma and also to be pampered by my mom and sis. I feel grateful that my mom has put me through to college and has taken care of me all these years. I am my mom’s number 1…. Opps number 2. Nadia has taken over my place. But is okay, she get to experience what I have experience all these years.

A friend of mine has given me a thought of advice. She suggested that I should I apply for the PTPN Loan to further my studies. I find that this idea is great but I am not a risk taker. To apply for the loan, I first have to take loan for my first semester from the bank and then during my first semester I can apply for the PTPN Loan. Great is great but is very risky. I have to borrow RM9,000 from the bank. But what if I did not get accepted, I will not only lose RM9,000 I would also have to pay for the bank interest. I cannot make a rash decision and not think of the consequences. We are not only talking about my future, it also involves my mom’s future and also her money. My mom Is not that young and why should I risk my mom’s money for something that I should face and not her. Most of you will say that I can surely get the PTPN Loan but in this world there is no 100% confirmation. Thank you so much to all of you for being there for me, giving me advices, helping me but I have already made up my mind. Either I get the scholarship or I start working.

I pray every night hoping that I would be accepted for the scholarship. I even dream about me being in Korea studying, having fun, and mixing around. My dreams are really cool right. All I can do now is to be positive. I keep thinking that I would be accepted and that I am going to Korea soon. The word negative does not exist anymore. I even plan on what to bring and what I should do before I leave Malaysia. I know being too positive is not good but I rather feel happy than being sad.

In conclusion, I really really want to be accepted for the scholarship.

p/s: Ling, Lai, after the results are out, let’s hang out together yeah regardless I got accepted or not. If got accepted let it be a happy outing, but if I got rejected then please lend me shoulder to lean on. :D

I found myself admiring another cute Korean guy.......

Unfortunately to my family and friends, they will be torture by me...

It all started last week when I was browsing for Super Junior and DBSK videos
when I found this group........

they are a talented Korean boy-band group
just like Super Junior, DBSK and Big Bang...

This boy-band is really talented....
For your information, Nickhun is from Thailand...
Jaebum was born in Seattle and Taecyeon migrated to Massachusetts when he was young...
So their English is awesome......

Everyone in 2PM is awesome but i like Jaebum the most...

One moment he can be funny and cute....

And the next he can be very charismatic....

He is so charming isn't he... :D

Don't misunderstand!! I am very loyal....
He only take a 1/4 of my heart....
while Junsu from DBSK also conquers 1/4 of my heart....
Kangin is still my number 1!!!!! :D

I got an email from Mun Leng Jie about a Korean Cooking Class....
being a Korean Lover i am, it is a MUST to attend....
it took me a few days to persuade my friends to go....
thankfully 2 of my besties agreed to teman me go....

BUT!!!

on that day itself, shi ching ffk me....
she overslept because she slept late last night trying to stalk ppl in facebook.... haih!!!
so only Tzi Ying and I went for the Korean Cooking Class...

Once we reached there, we registered and took a seat...
They handed out goodie bags to us...
The content of the goodies bags is really interesting...
There is a cook book, a box of ginseng, Korea's map and also a travel guide...
My sister and mom will surely love it a LOT!!!

all of them are focusing on the movie...

The Korean lady is teaching us how to make the Korean pancake...

Once the presentation is over~~
everyone practically rushed over to the table to see what ingredients did the lady used...
